Wii arrived today - now how to turn it off!

and already I have a sore arm, must learn not to be so violent with it! Dan was first, then came Jack and now me. Though I am yet to reach this magic 20, I did get 52 on my first attempt, and feel confident I can improve a bit on that.

But just how do you turn a remote off? Using the standby button turns the Wii off, even if you leave the room to do it, so how do you turn the things off?

    It needs a keyboard, hopefully someone will make one. Anyway my fitness today is 30.

    Just leave it alone. I’ve paused a game before, put the remote down, wandered off to make myself a cup of tea and before the tea was ready the remote had switched itself off.

    My fitness seems to range between 24 and 30 unless I have a particularly good or bad day.

    PS Send me an email with your Wii ‘number’ code and I’ll reply with mine so that our Miis can go and visit each other…

    Yes realised about the wiimotes after reading more, after 5 - 10 minutes it turns off.

    Well today fitness was down to 55, but I haven’t got the boxing sussed yet, can’t hit where I aim. But dodging is getting easier!
